Meet the Mama Behind Mama Bear Engraving

I recently came across a small shop that instantly grabbed my attention; not just because of the adorable name, but because of the woman and story behind it. As you all know, I’m always on the lookout for mom-owned businesses that are doing something special, and this one checked all the boxes. Let me introduce you to Bethany Rose, the mama behind Mama Bear Engraving.

From Hobby to Hustle: How It All Started

Bethany didn’t set out to become a small business owner—it kind of just happened (don’t we all love those “accidental” success stories?). Her dad bought a laser just for fun, purely as a hobby, and even set up an LLC with it. But eventually, Bethany and her husband decided to take it over and turn it into something real.

They’re still in the early stages of building everything out, but she’s already poured so much heart into it, and it shows. What started as a spontaneous project is now a growing, family-run business with a focus on personalized gifts and custom engraving.

Why “Mama Bear Engraving”?

If there’s one thing people say about Bethany, it’s that she’s a total mama bear (IYKYK). Fiercely protective, full of love, and always putting her family first. The name felt like a perfect fit for her brand, and it reflects the vibe of her shop beautifully.

Her focus is on products moms will love, and you can really feel that intentionality in everything she offers. From meaningful gifts to custom items, it’s clear that this is a shop built by a mom, for moms (and families!).

A Full-On Family Operation

This isn’t a one-woman show. Bethany runs the day-to-day while also doing the whole toddler-mom juggle (been there), and her husband handles the design side. He’s got a natural eye for creativity and works on the new collections and custom orders.

It’s refreshing to see a couple working side by side, building something together from the ground up, and doing it while raising a little one? Total boss move.

Want to Order or Collaborate?

They’re not limited to what’s listed in their shop, and they love working directly with customers to bring ideas to life. Whether you’re looking for a personalized gift, something custom for a special occasion, or just want to support a small business, you can absolutely reach out.

My Honest Review

I recently got the most adorable, personalized Bible case with my name and favorite Bible verse beautifully printed on it, and I’m absolutely in love! It’s not only sturdy and well-made but also feels so special every time I pick it up for my quiet time (or not so quiet having 2 kids) with God. I also have exclusive insulated cup engraved with “Caffeinated Crunchy Christian Mama;” a fun little special just for the amazing women in our Facebook group. It keeps my coffee hot through every Bible study session and toddler meltdown, and honestly, it’s the cutest, most “us” thing ever. Such a sweet, thoughtful combo that feels like a daily dose of encouragement and sisterhood!

Have a mom-owned biz you think I should spotlight next? Drop me a message or comment below. I LOVE featuring real moms doing real things. Let’s keep supporting each other!
