One thing I love about running this Cx3 space is getting to highlight businesses that are not only doing good work, but are built on faith, obedience, and a deep love for others. Solid Foundation Functional Health is one of those businesses. This mama-owned business is run by Chelsey Rozeboom. Keep reading to learn more!

The Heart Behind the Name
The name Solid Foundation came from a personal experience Chelsey had with the Lord. It reflects two things: the Lord as our foundation, and the idea that true health has to be built on a solid foundation as well.
When Chelsey works with new clients, she doesn’t jump straight into quick fixes. She starts with the basics and helps families slowly build a lifestyle of health from the ground up. This is so refreshing in a world that constantly wants fast answers and bandages over bullet holes.
A Mother’s Story That Changed Everything
Chelsey’s journey into functional health began as a mom, not a business owner. Her son is autistic and was non-verbal. Through a lot of prayer, Chelsey was led to functional medicine. Within six months, her son began speaking. Praise God!
She never intended to start a business, but once she saw what was possible, she knew she couldn’t keep it to herself; especially knowing how many children and families are struggling and searching for answers.
*This was Chelsey’s personal experience, and everyone will have different results and different blessings from the Lord.

Faith, Family, and Calling
Chelsey is a mama of four kids; her oldest is 15 and her youngest is just 1. She homeschools her middle kiddos and hopes to homeschool her youngest as well. Same here mama! She loves being home with her children and making healthy food for her family, mostly from scratch (which I also relate to).
She’s also been a registered nurse for eight years and spent much of her career working in the hospital, even serving as a charge nurse on a progressive care floor. She was good at her job and truly enjoyed it, until her eyes were opened to the corruption within the system. At that point, she knew she couldn’t participate anymore. And instead of walking away empty-handed, she stepped fully into the calling God had been preparing her for.

Her Favorite Offering
Chelsey’s favorite service, and the one closest to her heart, is her 3-Month Behavior Breakthrough Program. This program is built on the exact framework she used to help her own son begin speaking and feel more comfortable in his body. It’s extensive, deeply personal, and incredibly hands-on.
What stood out to me most is how closely she works with families. She doesn’t just create a plan and send them on their way; she walks alongside them and gets to witness the transformation firsthand. That kind of work is deeply rewarding, and you can tell how much it means to her.
Faith at the Center of It All
One of the most beautiful parts of Chelsey’s work is how intentionally she weaves faith into what she does. Most of the families that she works with are families of faith. She prays before nearly every meeting, asking for guidance and discernment; especially when it comes to creating and adjusting a plan. She also encourages families to pray together, prioritize rest, and spend time in the Word as a family. How wonderful! Chelsey truly believes that the Lord is the source of all healing, and that belief is the foundation of her work.
Where to Find Solid Foundation Functional Health
Summary
Solid Foundation Functional Health is more than a wellness business. It’s a calling, lived out through obedience, prayer, and service to families who are desperate for hope.
As a mom, these are the kinds of businesses that I feel honored to share; the ones built on faith, integrity, and a genuine desire to help children and families thrive.
Until next time,
From one mama to another, Maria Wilcoxon
