Meet the Owner

Many small businesses begin with a personal need, and that’s exactly how Goodrich & Wild came to be. Founder Micka Goodrich spent 17 years working in veterinary clinics and has always been passionate about health, wellness, and caring for others. As her own family navigated health challenges, she began searching for ways to support their bodies naturally while becoming more intentional about the products they used at home.

What started as a personal journey quickly grew into a passion for herbalism, ingredient education, and low tox living. As she continued her education and began helping friends and family, she realized there was a need for practical, affordable wellness options. From that passion, Goodrich & Wild was born.

Today, Micka is a wife, homeschool mom of two boys, registered veterinary technician, and herbalist living in rural Southeast Missouri.

The Story Behind the Name

The name Goodrich & Wild beautifully reflects both family and purpose. Goodrich is Micka’s family name, while Wild represents the herbal roots of the business and the beauty of God’s creation. Many of the plants used in herbalism grow freely in nature, making the name a perfect representation of both her family and the natural wellness tools God has provided.

Products Designed with Intention

At Goodrich & Wild, Micka creates small-batch herbal extracts, teas, salves, body care products, and wellness items designed to support everyday health. In addition to her products, Micka also created Toxin Free Resource, a free educational platform that helps families better understand ingredients and find low tox alternatives without becoming overwhelmed.

One thing that immediately stood out to me is her commitment to thoughtfully selected ingredients and toxin-free formulations without essential oils. Her goal isn’t perfection or fear-based living but helping families make informed choices that feel realistic and sustainable.

My Experience with Goodrich & Wild

I had the opportunity to try several of Micka’s products, and they’ve been a wonderful addition to our home. The Mineral Mint Tea was delicious and made for a relaxing cup of tea. She also included an adorable sticker that immediately found a permanent home on my emotional support water bottle.

One of my favorite products has been the Soothing Salve. In fact, I literally used it on my children just last night after bath time on a few dry skin and eczema-prone areas. As a mom, I appreciate having simple products on hand that can easily become part of our routine.

Her lip balm has also become a daily staple for me. I use it constantly and somehow still haven’t managed to run out. My husband and I also thoroughly enjoyed her Elderberry Extract. We ended up polishing off the entire bottle already, which is always a good sign.
