Meet the Owner
Femme Fertility was founded by Kristina, an ICU nurse turned Marquette Method Instructor who is passionate about helping women and couples better understand their fertility and reproductive health.
Like many mothers, Kristina found herself navigating the often confusing postpartum season after the birth of her first child. After using several different Natural Family Planning methods, she was searching for an option that was objective, effective, and especially helpful during breastfeeding and postpartum transitions. That’s when she discovered the Marquette Method.
She immediately appreciated that it was objective, backed by research, taught by licensed healthcare professionals, and highly effective for couples seeking to avoid pregnancy naturally. What began as a personal solution quickly became a life-changing passion. The more she learned about fertility awareness and body literacy, the more she realized how many women lacked access to accurate information about their own bodies.
After completing her certification through the Marquette University Institute for Natural Family Planning, Kristina founded Femme Fertility with a mission to help women and couples gain confidence in their reproductive health and make informed decisions about family planning.

The Story Behind the Name
The name Femme Fertility was chosen intentionally.
“Femme” is the French word for woman, and the name reflects Kristina’s desire to promote authentic feminism through body literacy and education. She wanted to create a space that empowers women and couples to understand their God-given fertility and recognize it as an important indicator of overall health and wellness.
At its core, Femme Fertility is about helping women feel informed, empowered, and confident in understanding their bodies.
What Femme Fertility Offers
Femme Fertility provides evidence-based fertility education centered around the Marquette Method of Natural Family Planning.
For those unfamiliar with it, the Marquette Method uses technology, including the Clearblue Fertility Monitor, to objectively track fertility biomarkers. It can be used to either achieve or avoid pregnancy and is especially helpful for women navigating postpartum and breastfeeding seasons.
Femme Fertility offers introductory classes, personalized follow-up support, and charting tools designed to make fertility tracking simple and convenient for modern women and couples.
Kristina believes body literacy is every woman’s right. She is passionate about helping women understand the natural functioning of their bodies and providing education that allows them to become advocates for their own health.
Breaking Common Misconceptions
One thing that stood out to me about Kristina’s story is her desire to reach women who may not see themselves represented in traditional conversations surrounding Natural Family Planning.
Many people assume NFP is only for religious families or couples who want large families. Kristina created Femme Fertility specifically for women who value natural living, want effective alternatives to hormonal contraceptives, and desire a deeper understanding of their fertility and reproductive health.
She wanted to create a resource for women who might describe themselves as “crunchy” and are looking for options that align with their values while still being evidence-based and practical.
The reality is that many women were never taught the basic facts of female fertility. Through Femme Fertility, Kristina is helping close that gap by equipping women and couples with knowledge that can serve them throughout every stage of life.
Faith at the Foundation
As a Catholic-Christian woman, wife, and mother of four young children, Kristina’s faith is deeply woven into both her life and her business.
She describes Femme Fertility as a response to the call found in Humanae Vitae for healthcare professionals to make Natural Family Planning more understandable and accessible. For her, teaching fertility awareness is more than education. It is an opportunity to serve others and walk alongside families as they learn about responsible parenthood, marriage, and health.
Kristina views fertility as a gift from God and believes understanding our bodies can help us better appreciate the way we were created. Through her work, she hopes to help women learn to care for their bodies, advocate for their health, and strengthen their relationships with their spouses.
She sees her work as a form of ministry and a way to support the dignity of women while helping couples better understand and appreciate God’s design for fertility and family life.
Final Thoughts
One of my favorite things about featuring small businesses is discovering women who are using their gifts, education, and faith to serve others in meaningful ways. Kristina’s passion for helping women understand their bodies shines throughout Femme Fertility’s mission.
Whether you’re newly married, navigating postpartum life, breastfeeding, trying to grow your family, hoping to avoid pregnancy naturally, or simply interested in learning more about fertility awareness, Femme Fertility provides education that empowers women to make informed decisions with confidence.
If you’ve ever wished someone had taught you more about how your body actually works, Femme Fertility may be exactly the resource you’ve been looking for.
