Meet the Owner
So That Motherhood was founded by Hannah McLeod, a wife, mother of three young children, and follower of Christ who is passionate about encouraging women in the everyday realities of motherhood.
Like many women, Hannah’s journey to creating her business was born from both beautiful and difficult seasons of life. Through experiences including miscarriage, the loss of her mother, and walking through a cancer journey with one of her children, she found herself leaning deeply on the Lord while learning what it means to trust Him through uncertainty and heartache.
At the same time, she was navigating the everyday challenges of motherhood, marriage, and raising young children. Throughout those experiences, God continually taught her valuable lessons, practical rhythms, mindset shifts, and truths that helped sustain her during difficult seasons.
Rather than keeping those lessons to herself, Hannah felt called to share them with other mothers who may be walking through similar struggles. What started as a desire to encourage women became So That Motherhood.

The Story Behind the Name
The name So That Motherhood comes directly from a pattern Hannah noticed throughout Scripture.
Time and time again in the Bible, encouragement, instruction, or commands are followed by the simple phrase “so that.” There is purpose behind what God asks us to do, and Hannah believes the same is true in motherhood.
As she explains, a mom can find helpful routines, practical tools, or healthy habits, but if those things don’t ultimately help her become more present in the life God has given her, then what’s the point?
The name serves as a reminder that motherhood is about more than simply getting through the day. The things we do, the habits we build, and the choices we make all serve a greater purpose.
Resources for Real-Life Motherhood
At its heart, So That Motherhood exists to encourage women through practical tools and faith-filled guidance.
Hannah creates resources designed to help moms navigate everyday life with greater intention, peace, and purpose. While some advice may be practical—yes, even things like laundry systems and daily rhythms—her ultimate goal goes much deeper than productivity.
She wants mothers to experience heart transformation.
Her resources focus not only on helping moms manage their homes and responsibilities but also on helping them grow in their faith, surrender control, and embrace the season God has them in.
Each guide begins with prayer and ends with Scripture, creating a resource that is both practical and rooted in biblical truth.
A Heart for Intentional Motherhood
One of the things I appreciate most about Hannah’s story is her honesty about the season she’s currently living.
After 12 years of marriage and raising three children under the age of seven, she understands the beauty and challenges that come with this stage of life. Like many mothers, she is learning to slow down, enjoy what is right in front of her, and release the need to control every outcome.
That perspective shines through in the message behind So That Motherhood.
Rather than encouraging moms to strive for perfection, Hannah encourages them to seek purpose. Rather than simply checking boxes, she hopes women will grow closer to Christ and become more present with the people God has entrusted to them.
Faith at the Foundation
Faith is not simply part of So That Motherhood—it is the foundation of everything Hannah does.
She describes her relationship with Jesus as the driving force behind both her life and her business. Her desire is not just to share encouragement but to point women toward genuine heart change through a life surrendered to Christ.
While her resources include practical tools and everyday advice, Hannah believes true transformation comes from the Lord. Her prayer is that women would not simply adopt better habits but would grow in their relationship with Jesus and experience the freedom that comes from trusting Him.
Every guide reflects that mission by combining practical encouragement with prayer and Scripture, helping moms connect daily motherhood challenges back to eternal truths.
Final Thoughts
Motherhood can often feel overwhelming, lonely, and exhausting, especially when you’re in the thick of raising young children. That’s why businesses like So That Motherhood matter.
Hannah has taken the lessons God has taught her through grief, loss, uncertainty, motherhood, and faith and turned them into resources designed to encourage other women along the way.
If you’re looking for practical encouragement rooted in biblical truth, So That Motherhood offers resources that remind moms not only what to do, but why they’re doing it.
Because motherhood isn’t just about surviving the season you’re in—it’s about living with purpose, so that you can become the woman God created you to be.
